Eric draws on experience as both a regional manager for the government of Alberta, and a municipal councillor where he championed local business and community economic development by building community coalitions. For years he managed Entrepreneurship and Regional Development for the Government of Alberta and received awards for Leadership and Igniting Innovation for his work in spearheading the grassroots development of cross-functional teams within the economic development department. Eric has worked with municipalities, First Nations, Chambers of Commerce, Post-Secondary institutions and government agencies in building and implementing customized strategies to develop local economies.
Amanda is a champion of sustainability, social
inclusion, and community economic development. She specializes in conducting research, data analysis and developing first-class reports and communications materials. Amanda has extensive experience testing business feasibility, and translating the findings into dynamic shareable formats including infographics and videos. Amanda is a member in good standing of the Economic Developers Association of Canada (EDAC).
